Netherlands: American brand Under Armour becomes official supplier of AZ Alkmaar from 2015-16

The American brand Under Armour will become the official kit and equipment supplier of AZ Alkmaar (Eredivisie) from the 2015-16 season, the club announced on 12/05/2015. Under Armour will present the new official match and training kits of the club in July 2015.

The brand replaces the Italian sportswear company Macron, who had been under contract with AZ Alkmaar since the 2011-12 season. The club was also integrate "UA Record", the Under Armour's comprehensive Connected Fitness platform for data analytics, into their training. Under Armour will also install equipment in the new performance center of AZ Alkmaar to Zandaam, a northwestern suburb of Amsterdam (NED). The center is located close to the European offices of Under Armour, based at the Olympisch Stadion in Amsterdam.
