Intersport: Philippe Giovanni appointed CEO for France & Belgium

Philippe Giovanni has been appointed CEO of Intersport for France and Belgium, confirmed the Swiss sporting goods retail group to News Tank on 03/11/2025.

The new CEO, who took up his post in mid-October 2025, succeeds Sylvain Darracq, who held the post from April 2022 to July 2025.

Philippe Giovanni was previously CEO of the Bricomarché, Bricorama and Brico Cash retail chains within the Les Mousquetaires group (from 2017 to 2022) and chief commercial officer of Bricomarché and Brico Cash from 2005 to 2016.
