Spain: Chinese firm Qianbao, shirt sponsor of Real Sociedad, wants to acquire a Liga Adelante club

The Chinese group Qianbao wants to purchase a Liga Adelante club, announced its president Zhang Xiaolei to the Spanish news agency Efe on 12/05/2015.

"In China, we don't know as much about the sport as you do in Spain, and the best way to acquire this knowledge is learning the right way to run a Spanish professional football team. Our ultimate goal is to buy a prestigious team one day," said Zhang Xialoei.

The group, through its subsidiary Qbao.com, which specialises in mobile internet technology, is the shirt sponsor of Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano (Liga BBVA) in 2014-15. The contract with Real Sociedad was extended until the end of the 2019-20 season in March 2015. The partnership with the Basque club includes training exchanges with the Chinese club Nan Jing Qianbao FC (Chinese third division).
