Joseph Blatter, the president of FIFA, published an open letter on his Twitter account on 15/05/2015 which is "to the members of FIFA". This letter, which bears a FIFA letterhead, is dated 15/05/2015 from Zurich (SUI), and is entitled "Together".

Joseph Blatter is running for a fifth term as the president of FIFA, a position he has held since 08/06/1998, at the annual congress of the international body on 29/05/2015 in Zurich (SUI). Unlike his three competitors for the presidency of FIFA -- Luis Figo (POR), Ali Bin Al Hussein (JOR) and Michael van Praag (NED) -- Joseph Blatter has not put forward a manifestoor programme for the election.

"I am aware that there is still work to do in various areas," said Blatter in his letter, which lists six points of focus: education and promotion of women's football, racism and discrimination, the health of the players, match manipulation, relations with business partners and finally the position of professional football within FIFA.
