Atlético de Madrid: partnership with F1 Spanish Grand Prix to offer entertainment at the Metropolitano

Club Atlético de Madrid (LALIGA EA Sports) has become a partner of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix for five seasons (2026-2030), announced the club on 04/11/2025. As part of this agreement, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano will host the main concert of the race weekend (organised from 11 to 13/09 for the 2026 edition).

The Madrid stadium will serve as "a hub for entertainment, activations and experiences for fans," according to the club. In particular, the stadium will offer entertainment as well as reception areas and transfer services to the Madring circuit for spectators. Meanwhile, Atlético de Madrid will have a hospitality area on the new 5.47km, 22-turn circuit.

This announcement comes as the Spanish capital prepares to host the Spanish leg of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time since 1981.
