Euroleague Basketball: "We plan to achieve a €3bn valuation over the next five years" (Gawain Davies)

"We are growing multiple sources of revenue, and if we keep at it, we will increase the valuation of the league for our stakeholders and make EuroLeague even more attractive. We had some interest from private equity in 2024, and our business was then valued at over €1bn. Our revenues have grown since then, which means that we are now well over this valuation and plan to achieve a €3bn valuation over the next five years," said Gawain Davies, chief commercial officer at Euroleague Basketball, to News Tank on 05/11/2025.

"Media rights are our biggest source of income, as we are working with a lot of rights holders. It accounts for just over 50% of our total revenue compared to around 70% just a few years ago. This is not due to our media rights declining, but to other areas of our business growing significantly.
