Supercopa de España 2026: a total of 77 Spanish men's & women's teams invited to Saudi Arabia

The Royal Spanish Football Federation will give 77 teams from the main professional and non-professional categories of Spanish football, both men's and women's, the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia for the Supercopa de España 2026, scheduled to take place at the Alinma Stadium in Jeddah (KSA) from 07 to 11/01/2026, announced the RFEF on 31/10/2025.

"The number of invitations has been increased from 46 to 77 clubs, with the aim of allowing professional clubs that have never participated in the competition to enjoy the experience that representatives of non-professional clubs enjoyed in the previous edition," explained the Spanish Football Federation, which described the event as "a celebration of Spanish football."

"The non-professional clubs invited will attend the semi-finals and final of the tournament at the 'King Abdullah Sport City' and will take part in working meetings at which the clubs' concerns regarding non-professional competitions will be presented," added the RFEF.
