FC St. Pauli: Millerntor-Stadion (Hamburg, GER) sold to a supporters' cooperative set up for the purpose

The "Football Cooperative Sankt Pauli", FC St. Pauli's (Bundesliga) supporters' cooperative set up in November 2024 to take over the Millerntor-Stadion (Hamburg, GER), has acquired a "majority stake" in the Millerntor Stadion Betriebsgesellschaft (Millerntor stadium operating company), announced the club on 06/11/2025. Until then, the club had owned the 29,546-seat stadium.

22,623 people have subscribed for a total of €29,178,800 in this cooperative, according to the club's analysis of the subscription phase on 08/05/2025. A total of 34,328 shares worth €850 had been acquired, representing an average of 1.52 shares per person. "The vast majority of subscribers were men (77.2%), with an average age of 49.6," said the club.

"The club can now make major investments using its own resources. This includes the expansion of the training centre," explained FC St. Pauli.

The cooperative, "the first of its kind in professional football", stipulates that, regardless of the number of shares acquired, each holder has just one vote.
