Germany: Bernd Neuendorf, sole candidate, re-elected DFB president (2025-2029)

Bernd Neuendorf was re-elected as president of the DFB until 2029 at the German Football Association's 45^th Ordinary Congress, held in Frankfurt am Main at the DFB-Campus on 07/11/2025. The only candidate in the running, he received 100% of the votes cast by the 253 delegates entitled to vote.

Born on 06/07/1961, the former president of the Middle Rhine Football Association (FVM) and vice-president of the West German Football Association (WDFV) was elected DFB president on 11/03/2022, becoming the 14^th president in the history of the German Football Association.

Among the figures quoted by Bernd Neuendorf in his speech to praise the results of his first term in office:
• a structural deficit of around €20m when he took over in 2022, followed by profits in 2023 and 2024;
• 2,800 events organised at the DFB-Campus in 2024;
• €13m in annual financial support for the regional federations;
• €125m paid out by the DFB and its regional associations for amateur football.
