LALIGA: launch of an AI programme with Globant to foster innovation & internal processes

LALIGA and the digital transition consultancy Globant have signed a memorandum of understanding to implement a "groundbreaking large-scale agentic Artificial Intelligence programme," announced the Spanish league on 07/11/2025.

The agreement makes LALIGA "the first sports organisation in the world to adopt a large-scale agentic Artificial Intelligence model, aimed at accelerating innovation and optimising internal processes in key areas such as talent development, sports performance analysis, personalised content generation, and workflow automation."

The programme "will be developed through Globant's AI Pods, a disruptive subscription model based on teams of AI agents supervised by human experts", with the participation of Sportian, a joint venture between LALIGA and Globant, offering a range of technological solutions.
