• Giorgio Chiellini, director of football strategy at Juventus FC, has been elected to represent Lega Serie A on the FIGC Federal Council. He joins Giuseppe Marotta, president of FC Inter Milan, Stefano Campoccia, vice-president of Udinese Calcio, and Ezio Simonelli, president of Lega Serie A, in representing Italy's top flight clubs on the Federation's board.
• RC Strasbourg Alsace (Ligue 1 McDonald's) have achieved a record number of season ticket holders for the 2025-26 season, with 21,882 memberships sold.
• "We are surprised to learn FIFA has again called player representatives to a meeting without inviting FIFPRO," said the international union, as a meeting of the FIFA professional players consultation forum is scheduled to take place in Rabat (MAR) on 08/11/2025.
• Pay-TV group Supersport (MultiChoice) has acquired the rights from CAF to broadcast the TotalEnergies AFCON 2025 in English and "local languages" in sub-Saharan Africa.
