Paris Saint-Germain: opening of an academy in Guadalajara in January 2026, the club's first in Mexico

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) will open its first academy in Mexico in the city of Guadalajara on 12/01/2026, announced the club on 07/11/2025.

"The Academy will be based at Colegio Albert Camus, which features a FIFA-standard synthetic field, making it one of the most modern pitches in Mexico," said Paris SG. Girls and boys aged between 4 and 18 "will be able to enroll in the annual programme, which will include several training sessions per week led by club-certified coaches, as well as weekend matches. Summer camps will also be offered during school holidays, allowing children to spend an entire week immersed in the colors and spirit of Paris Saint-Germain."

"Mexico will soon become the only country to have hosted three FIFA World Cups, a testament to the strength of its infrastructure and the nation’s enduring passion for the beautiful game," added PSG. The country will be co-hosting the 2026 edition of the FIFA competition with Canada and the United States, having already hosted the tournament in 1970 and 1986.
