Olympique Lyonnais: partnership with the Republic of Congo, back shirt sponsor for 2025-2029

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) and OL Lyonnes (Arkema Première Ligue) have entered into a partnership with the Republic of Congo, which will display its "Destination Congo Brazzaville" tourism brand as a back shirt sponsor for four seasons (2025-2029), announced the club on 10/11/2025.

"This partnership is part of a desire to promote Congo and its capital, Brazzaville, as a destination for tourism and the country's economic and cultural development, thanks in particular to the television exposure provided by the presence on the shirts of the men's and women's professional teams and the youth teams from the club's academy," explained the club.

The words "Destination Congo Brazzaville" appears on Lyon's shirts below the players' numbers, while the top space on the back of the shirts has been occupied by the Aushopping shopping centre since the 2023-24 season.

As well as visibility on the back of shirts, this partnership includes the two clubs running a mixed football academy in Kintélé (a town in the north-eastern suburbs of Brazzaville). This site, which will have "modernised…
