FC Barcelona: return to the Spotify Camp Nou in front of 45,000 spectators on 22/11/2025, after 909 days

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) will return to the Spotify Camp Nou (Barcelona, ESP) for the game versus Athletic Club Bilbao on Saturday 22/11/2025 (kick-off at 16:15 CET) as part of Matchday 13 of the 2025-26 Spanish top flight, announced the club on 17/11/2025.

This will be the Catalan club's first match in its home stadium since the 3-0 win over RCD Mallorca on 28/05/2023, 909 days earlier. Barça played the entire 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc (Barcelona), due to the renovation and expansion work carried out at the Spotify Camp Nou (capacity increased from 99,354 to 105,000).

Initially scheduled to for the Joan Gamper Trophy on 10/08/2025 ahead of the 2025-26 season, FC Barcelona's return to the stadium has been postponed several times due to delays in the work and a lack of authorisation from Barcelona City Council.
