RFEF: Copa del Rey final to be held at the Estadio la Cartuja in Seville (Spain) until 2027-28

The Copa del Rey Mapfre final will be held at the Estadio la Cartuja (70,000 capacity) in Seville (ESP) for the next three editions of the competition (2025-2028) following a decision by the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol's board of directors, on 17/11/2025.

The final of the competition has been staged in Seville since 2018-19 (seven seasons). La Cartuja has hosted the last six editions, while the match was held at the Estadio Benito Villamarín (60,721 capacity) in 2018-19.

La Cartuja, renovated from July 2024 to March 2025, reopened its doors on 26/04/2025 for the final of the 2024-25 Copa del Rey Mapfre (victory for FC Barcelona versus Real Madrid CF, 3-2). The stadium will also host matches at the 2030 World Cup, co-hosted by Spain (11 host cities), Morocco (six) and Portugal (three).
