LFP: 21 clubs with a dedicated CSR structure & an average budget of €178,250 in 2024-25

21 of the 36 McDonald's Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT clubs had a structure dedicated to CSR projects, with an average budget of €178,250 in 2024-25, according to the ninth edition of the 1TEAM report published by the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 18/11/2025.

"For the past two seasons, the Club Licence has placed CSR at the heart of its assessment, which now accounts for 10% of the overall score (1,000 points out of 10,000). This structuring choice marks a clear desire to make CSR a strategic dimension in the same way as the other major themes of professional football," stated the LFP.

"The results confirm the impact of this decision. Between 2023-24 and 2024-25, clubs' performance improved significantly: the average score rose from 55.9% to 79% in Ligue 1, and from 49.17% to 64% in Ligue 2. This strong dynamic illustrates the acceleration in the clubs' commitment and the growing importance of their responsible initiatives," explained the Ligue.

The actions of the LFP and its clubs are concentrated around four pillars: inclusivity, solidarity, health and sustainability.
