Milano Cortina 2026: Rai acquires exclusive broadcasting rights to the Paralympic Winter Games in Italy

Rai has acquired exclusive broadcasting rights in Italy for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games, announced the public broadcasting group on 18/11/2025.

The Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games will also be broadcast free-to-air by Rai, while Warner Bros. Discovery group will offer all the disciplines via Eurosport and its HBO Max platform.

The IPC launched the call for tenders for the broadcasting rights in Europe for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games on 17/12/2024. The EBU subsequently acquired exclusive media rights to the competition in Europe for at least 25 of its members, including France Télévisions (France), RTVE (Spain) and ARD and ZDF (Germany). Italy and the United Kingdom were not among the territories concerned.
