NBA: after France, beIN SPORTS also renews its media rights in the MENA region from 2025-26

beIN Media Group has renewed its broadcasting rights to the National Basketball Association in the MENA region from the 2025-26 season, announced the Qatari pay-TV group on 20/11/2025.

"beIN SPORTS will broadcast up nine regular season NBA games in Arabic, English and French, as well as the playoffs, conference finals and the NBA finals. The renewal builds on beIN and the NBA's long-standing 17-year collaboration. beIN has held the rights to the NBA in MENA since 2008," said the group.

The Qatari group's subsidiary will thus broadcast the North American league's matches alongside the American group Amazon. The owner of the Prime Video platform has in fact obtained the TV rights to certain games in the competition over the 2025-2036 cycle as part of a global agreement signed with the NBA on 24/07/2024. Each season, the group will broadcast up to 86 regular-season games, play-in games, a third of the playoff games from the first two rounds, a series of conference finals and the NBA finals six years out of 11.
