World Rugby: American leg of the HSBC SVNS Series moved from Los Angeles to New York in 2026

World Rugby has entered into a partnership with the United States Rugby Union (USA Rugby) and events agency TEG Rugby Live to integrate an American leg in New York into the HSBC SVNS rugby sevens series, announced the international federation on 19/11/2025.

The American leg of the tour was previously held at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles (California). For the 2025-26 season, the event will be held at the Sports Illustrated Stadium (25,000 capacity) in New York, home of the New York Red Bulls (MLS) and Gotham FC (NWSL). The tournament will be the final round of the 2025-26 HSBC SVNS regular season, which will previously make stops in Dubai (UAE, season opener on 29 and 30/11/2025), Cape Town (RSA), Singapore, Perth (AUS) and Vancouver (CAN). Each stage brings together eight men's and women's teams. The finals will then be held in Hong Kong, Valladolid (ESP) and Bordeaux (FRA, from 05 to 07/2026).
