Paramount+, a streaming platform belonging to American media conglomerate Paramount Skydance, acquired the rights to broadcast all Champions League matches, with the exception of the best Wednesday night fixture, in Germany from UEFA via Relevent Football Partners for the 2027-2031 cycle, on 20/11/2025.

Another American OTT platform, Prime Video (Amazon), exclusive broadcaster of the Champions League's Tuesday night top fixture over the 2024-2027 cycle, has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights for the Wednesday evening match at the expense of DAZN. The British platform, which broadcasts all matches in the competition except for Tuesday's match in Germany during the current cycle, will therefore no longer offer any matches from 2027-28 onwards. However, it is acquiring all rights to the Europa League and Conference League, held by RTL Deutschland for the 2024-2027 cycle.

The German public broadcaster ZDF has lost the free-to-air rights to the Champions League final but has secured co-exclusive rights to broadcast highlights of Wednesday evening matches.
