Top 5/European Cups: "Unprecedented interest from broadcasters & streaming platforms" (UC3)

The simultaneous tender launched on 13/10/2025 in the European Top 5 markets for the media rights to the men's European Cups (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League & Super Cup) from the 2027-28 season has attracted "unprecedented interest from broadcasters and streaming platforms," said UC3 on 21/11/2025 after awarding the various lots in the five main European markets for the 2027-2031 cycle, i.e. four seasons instead of three for the current cycle (2024-2027).

This consultation, the first proposed in collaboration with US agency Relevent Football Partners, attracted "widespread interest from a diverse range of media organisations and ultimately resulted in a mix of traditional broadcasters as well as local, pan-regional and global players.
