Cagliari Calcio: a group of US-based investors led by Maurizio Fiori (ITA) acquires a minority stake

A group of US-based investors led by entrepreneur Maurizio Fiori, a native of Sardinia (Italy) and managing director of Praxis Capital Management, has acquired a minority stake in Cagliari Calcio (Serie A Enilive), announced the club on 21/11/2025. "The closing and formal presentation of the new investor will follow, subject to the required regulatory approvals."

"The transaction involves the acquisition of a qualified minority stake, marking a significant step in the club's long-term growth strategy," added Cagliari Calcio. The stake is between 30% and 40% of Cagliari's capital according to several Italian media outlets

Tommaso Giulini, the club's president since 2014 via his company Fluorsid Group, will "retain full control and operational leadership of the club". The new investor will bring "valuable expertise and a global network to reinforce Cagliari's ongoing path of development and innovation."

In particular, the new investor group will be "focused on supporting the development of the new stadium project and driving the structural growth and strengthening of Cagliari Calcio."
