LALIGA: call for tenders for international TV rights to the Copa del Rey, operated by Peak Sport Media

LALIGA launched a call for tenders for the international broadcasting rights to the Copa del Rey Mapfre from the 2025-26 season onwards, on 21/11/2025.

The tender process, launched in collaboration with British agency Peak Sport Media, covers the broadcasting of matches from the Round of 32 onwards, as well as the final (sublicensed by Peak). The deadline for submitting bids is 04/12/2025.

In France, the L'Équipe group held the rights to broadcast the competition until 2024-25.

The tender for international media rights to the Copa del Rey has been launched, while the tender for domestic rights has concluded with the renewal of the agreements with the broadcasting group RTVE (116 matches per season) and the telecommunications operator Telefonica (Movistar, 55 matches per season) for the 2025-2027 cycle. The rights to the competition have also been acquired by the telecoms operator Orange for the 2025-26 season.
