Winter Games: change of logo & provisional name for the Utah Games 2034 in Salt Lake City (USA)

The Salt Lake City Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (Utah, USA) has changed its identity to mark the 3,000^th anniversary of the event, on 22/11/2025.

The organising committee has introduced a new official name, "Utah 2034", replacing "Salt Lake City 2034", in order to bring together and unite communities from across the state. At the same time, the committee unveiled a new logo that refers to "shapes and angles reminiscent of the landforms of the American West". This new identity will be incorporated into the Organising Committee's provisional logo until the official Games logo is implemented in 2029.

This logo is also being promoted through a line of merchandise launched today on a dedicated platform (utah2034shop.com), in collaboration with the Los Angeles 2028 Organising Committee and the American Olympic and Paralympic Committee. "These products will also soon be available at Utah's historic sites and in Team USA shops," the committee said.
