Formula 1/United States: a record 1.5 million viewers for the Las Vegas GP on ESPN (+70%)

The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, the 22^nd race of the 2025 season, won by Dutchman Max Verstappen (Oracle Red Bull Racing), drew an average of 1.5 million viewers, with a peak of 1.8 million on the pay-TV channel ESPN (The Walt Disney Company) in the United States on Saturday 22/11/2025 (race start at 20:00 local time, 05:00 CET on Sunday), according to data from the American institute Nielsen.

This is an all-time record for this Grand Prix, held for the third time in the F1 World Championship calendar. The audience was 70% up on the 2024 edition (905,000 viewers, beginning at 22:00 local time). The first edition of the GP drew an average of 1.3 million viewers in 2023, according to Nielsen.

"ESPN remains on course to set an all-time season record average for F1 viewership in the United States. The existing record average of 1.21 million was set in 2022. The audience marked the 14^th event viewership record set this season in 22 F1 races, with all but three of the 22 experiencing year-over-year audience growth," said the American group.
