FIFA: extended partnership with Globant to provide digital services for the 2026 World Cup

Globant, a specialist digital transformation consultancy, has extended its partnership with FIFA to become an official supporter of the 2026 World Cup and the Women's World Cup 2027 for the North American and European markets, announced the two parties on 25/11/2025.

Under the terms of this enhanced agreement, the group will provide the International Federation with "a broad portfolio of IT solutions, software and digital platform development services" for the two competitions. In particular, Globant will be responsible for enhancing the governing body's digital platforms and developing a new mobile application, according to FIFA, which will also mobilise its partner for other competitions, including the 2025 FIFAe Finals (esports) and the 2027 U20 World Cup.

FIFA initially partnered with Globant to support the growth of the FIFA+ streaming platform under a multi-year agreement signed on 17/10/2022, which included the creation of new features and connected experiences for users of the platform, as well as supporting the platform's distribution.
