NWSL: a record 1.18 million viewers on CBS in the United States for the 2025 final

Washington Spirit - NJ/NY Gotham (0-1), the final of the 2025 NWSL season, drew an average of 1.18 million viewers on CBS in the United States on Saturday 22/11/2025 (kick-off at 20:00 ET), up 22% compared to the 2024 final, according to the North American league on 25/11/2025.

This is the most-watched NWSL match in US history. The previous league record was held by the 2024 final. Orlando Pride's 1-0 win over Washington Spirit drew an average of 968,000 viewers on CBS on 24/11/2024 (20:00 ET).

"On the social media side, Championship week shattered league records. Across platforms, content generated 50.6 million impressions, a 56% year-over-year increase, with 1.6 million engagements across platforms and 13.2 million TikTok impressions, 12 times higher than 2024," said the NWSL.
