FFF: creation of "Foot Impact" - a societal football observatory to improve impact measurement

The Fédération Française de Football has created "Foot Impact", a football societal observatory, to collect data and produce an annual report on the impact of football, as well as thematic studies on related issues (employment, avoidance of public spending on health, citizenship, etc.), announced the body on the occasion of the presentation of the 5th edition of the Panorama sociétal du football français (Societal Overview of French football), in collaboration with the Fondaction du Football, on 26/11/2025.

This observatory will be steered by a scientific council of five members appointed to oversee the method, and will benefit in particular from contributions from the Fondaction du Football and UNESCO. "Not only will we be collecting data to put statistical figures on the impact of football, but we will also be carrying out more in-depth studies with the support of this scientific council. All of this should enable us to benefit from extremely regular monitoring and will lead to publication, with a concern for transparency and neutrality," said Philippe Diallo, president of the FFF…
