Spain: La Liga launches an "Immersion in Sports Management" programme for sports athletes

In partnership with the Centro de Estudio Garrigues, La Liga has launched the "Immersion in Sports Management" programme for athletes interested in working in the sports industry, on 18/05/2015. The official launch of the programme, supported by the CSD, the Spanish High Council for Sports, was attended by Miguel Cardenal, the Spanish Secretary of State for Sports, Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, and Pablo Olábarri, the director of the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

"Improving training was one of my goals when I came to the presidency of La Liga. That is why we want to promote projects on football management, so that participants can learn how to work in the sports industry a little better each day. With this programme, open to all athletes, we aim to achieve excellence through learning, because education is key to the growth of the football industry," said Javier Tebas on 18/05/2015.
