World Rugby: Emirates extends as a platinum partner & Men's & Women's Rugby World Cup sponsor (2026-2035)

Emirates, an Emirati airline, has extended its partnership with World Rugby as a platinum partner and sponsor of the Men's and Women's Rugby World Cups for ten seasons, until 2035, announced the body on 27/11/2025.

This renewal brings the total duration of the agreement to 22 seasons, and makes it the longest sponsorship contract in the International Federation's history. Emirates has been involved with the Men's Rugby World Cup since 2007, and extended its rights to the Women's Rugby World Cup for the first time in 2025. As part of this renewed agreement, the airline will continue to display its "Fly Better" brand logo on referees' kits at World Cups and international matches, including qualifying matches.

The extension of the partnership "represents a powerful endorsement of rugby's commercial strength and its growing appeal as the sport accelerates its reach into new and strategically important markets, including the United States," said the body, which also mentioned "the rapid rise, increasing influence and accelerating commercial value of the women's game."
