Almost 2 million tickets have been sold for the 2026 World Cup following the Visa Presale and the first two marketing phases, announced FIFA on 27/11/2025.

Ticket holders come from 212 countries and territories. In addition to the three host countries (USA, Canada and Mexico), the Top 10 ticket buyers include fans from England, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Argentina and France.

The final draw for the competition is scheduled to take place in Washington (USA) on 05/12/2025, before the third sales phase opens on 11/12 (until 13/01/2026). "This marks the first phase when fans will be able to apply for single-match tickets based on exact match-ups and teams for group-stage games," said FIFA. Purchasers will be able to make requests for each match, and will be debited in February 2026 depending on availability.

As the competition approaches, tickets that are still available can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis. In total, over 6 million tickets will be sold to attend the competition.
