Women’s World Cup 2035: joint bid from the United Kingdom’s four associations

The four United Kingdom's football associations (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales) "have officially submitted their joint bid for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2035," announced the bodies on 28/11/2025.

The bid includes 22 proposed stadiums: 16 in England, 3 in Wales, 2 in Scotland and 1 in Northern Ireland, across 16 host cities. "With 63 million people living within two hours of a proposed venue, it would be the most accessible tournament ever."

England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales - along with Ireland - will also host UEFA Euro 2028.

The four nations of the United Kingdom will be competing with the trio of Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Rafael Louzán, RFEF president, had announced the intention of the three countries to host the competition in 2035, on 28/03/2025. Spain, Morocco and Portugal were already designated by FIFA on 11/12/2024 to host the 24^th Men's World Cup from 13/06 to 21/07/2030.

The Women's World Cup 2027 will be held in Brazil from 24/06 to 25/07/2027.
