Eagle Football Group: total revenue of €273.7m (-24%) & a net loss of €201.1m in 2024-25

Total revenue from Eagle Football Group's operations during the 2024-25 financial year (01/07/2024 to 30/06/2025) was €273.7m, down 24% on 2023-24 (€361.4m), announced the company that owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) on 28/11/2025. Excluding transfers, EFG posted revenues of €162.6m, compared with €264.1m in 2023-24 (-38%).

The club's operating profit fell to -€150.7m (€26.5m in 2023-24), while EBITDA fell to -€47.7m, compared with €44.2m the previous year. The net loss rose to €201.1m, compared with a deficit of €25.7m at the end of the previous financial year.

"Financially, EBITDA was significantly impacted by higher personnel costs, mainly related to major player signings during the financial year. The operating result also includes a sharp increase in player amortization (up nearly €40m compared to the previous year), as well as a charge related to the settlement agreement signed with UEFA in June 2025 (€12.5m).
