Germany/DFL: Playmobil (toys) official licensee, play figures collection to be launched for 2026-27

Playmobil, a German toy brand, has become an official licensee of the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), announced the body on 01/12/2025. This partnership was coordinated by Bundesliga International GmbH in cooperation with IMG.

As part of this agreement, the brand will market a play figures collection dedicated to the Bundesliga at the start of the 2026-27 season, comprising a total of 198 officially licensed characters (11 per club) with their team's jersey and "distinctive features". Six of these figures will be released early in March 2026 : Harry Kane (FC Bayern Munich), Mario Götze (Eintracht Frankfurt), Angelo Stiller (VfB Stuttgart), Julian Brandt (Borussia Dortmund), Luka Vušković (Hamburg SV) and Saïd El Mala (1. FC Köln).

Playmobil and the German retailer Edeka had previously entered into a partnership with the Deutscher Fussball Bund (DFB) to offer play figures of the German men's national team at Euro 2024.
