The FIGC and the audit and consulting firm PwC published the report "Calcio Report 2015" on 18/05/2015. Within the document are the figures for amateur football in Italy, the organisation of the governance of Italian professional football, as well as income and finances of Italian professional football.

The Italian professional football league (Serie A TIM, Serie B and Lega Pro) generated €2,727.4m in turnover in 2013-14, up 1.2% from 2012-13 (€2,695.8m). The expenses amounted to €2,994.1m at the end of the 2013-14 season, up 0.8% year on year (€2,971.6m). The cumulative net loss by the 111 Italian professional clubs amounted to €316.9m, and the cumulative debt to €3,686m at the end of the 2013-14 season.

Tax and social security contributions of Italian professional football totaled €884.6m on 30/06/2014.
