The American food group PepsiCo has become a global partner of Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team from 2026, announced the team on 02/12/2025. As part of the agreement, the group based in Purchase Harrison (New York) will position three of its brands: the energy drinks Gatorade and Sting Energy (the latter established in emerging markets), as well as Doritos tortilla chips.

PepsiCo will join a group of global partners that already includes adidas (equipment supplier), TeamViewer (IT), UBS (banking), Nasdaq (stock market) and Meta - WhatsApp (social media), a category positioned under title sponsor Petronas (energy) and associate partner Ineos (chemicals), also a shareholder of the team.

Through the Gatorade Sports Science Institute, PepsiCo aims to deploy "a fully customised performance hydration strategy" for drivers George Russell (GBR) and Kimi Antonelli (ITA) "in a sport where drivers can lose up to 4 kilograms of body weight through sweat in a single race."
