European Top 5/social media (December 2025): 39 million new followers for the 96 clubs in three months

• The clubs in European Top 5 leagues registered 39.8 million new followers in September, October and November 2025, bringing their total number of followers to 3.14 billion on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
• Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) is the club with the most followers with 463 million, ahead of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports, 399 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 220 million).
• Liverpool FC (Premier League) was the club that posted the best growth in its number of followers, with 6.3 million new followers in three months (6 million from Facebook).
• In relative terms, US Cremonese (Serie A Enilive) posted the best growth (+25.8%).

November 2025 was marked by the introduction of a new transparency feature on X, which led to the deletion of numerous accounts. As a result, 90 out of 96 clubs saw their number of subscribers on the platform fall between September and December 2025. In total, the clubs lost 26 million fans.
