Lega Serie B: "A strategic plan for our channel distributed by Prime Video and OneFootball" (Paolo Bedin)

"We changed the business model for selling the rights, moving from an exclusivity tender to a non-exclusivity tender. We sold the 2024-2027 rights to DAZN because Sky decided not to participate. Then, in November 2024, we created our own channel - not an OTT platform, just a channel - called LaB Channel. We reached an agreement from the beginning with Prime Video (Amazon) to distribute all the 10 games per matchday, and in May 2025 also with OneFootball TV, which is focused on young customers. We are preparing a strategic plan focused on the channel, possibly with a dedicated legal entity, to introduce and propose it to our General Assembly before the end of this season, June 2026," said Paolo Bedin, president of Lega Serie B, to News Tank Football on 19/11/2025.
