DFL/Bundesliga: launch of a FAST channel in the UK and Ireland to broadcast the Friday night matches

The Deutsche Fußball Liga has launched its first FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) streaming channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland, dedicated in particular to the live broadcast of the Friday night matches (kick-off at 20:30 CET) of each Bundesliga matchday, announced the DFL on 05/12/2025.

The channel will be available on Samsung devices through the Samsung TV Plus streaming service without subscription or additional cost. The partnership, "which will run as a multi-year agreement, will also allow fans to watch a selection of 2.Bundesliga matches (one per time slot), highlights, interviews, press conferences, etc."

The Bundesliga Friday night games will also be broadcast free of charge via other channels:
• on BBC iPlayer, the BBC streaming platform;
• on the BBC Sport website and app;
• on two very popular YouTube channels in the United Kingdom, The Overlap (1.5 million subscribers) and That's Football (1.4 million), each of which will offer 20 live matches per season;
• on the Bundesliga YouTube channel.
