CONMEBOL: a fourfold increase in prize money for clubs in 10 years ($314.4m in 2025 vs $71.2m in 2015)

The prize money distributed to South American clubs that participated in continental competitions (mainly the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana) has more than quadrupled in 10 years, from $71.2m in 2015 to $314.4m in 2025 (+442%), according to CONMEBOL, which presented its review of "10 years of growth" on 04/12/2025.
