Tatjana Haenni (SUI) will become CEO of RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) from 01/01/2026, announced the club on 10/12/2025.

She is taking up a position left vacant following the departure of Oliver Mintzlaff in November 2022 to become managing director of projects and investments for the Austrian Red Bull Group, that owns the club.

The former Switzerland international leaves her role as sporting director of the NWSL, which she had held since 2023 after four years as head of women’s football at the Swiss Football Association. Tatjana Haenni also served as deputy director for women’s football at FIFA from 2015 to 2017.

Tatjana Haenni will lead RB Leipzig’s management board alongside Johann Plenge (business), Florian Hopp (administration) and Marcel Schäfer (sport). Johann Plenge is also appointed vice-president of the management board and will have expanded responsibilities covering relations with federations, national leagues and international bodies.
