Valencia CF: Telefonica founding partner of the Nou Mestalla to operate its technological infrastructure

The Spanish telecommunications operator Telefonica has become a founding partner of the Nou Mestalla (70,044 capacity, Valencia, ESP), the future home of Valencia CF (LALIGA EA Sports), announced the club on 10/12/2025.

As part of this agreement, the group will be responsible for the stadium's technological infrastructure and connectivity, including:
• the implementation of the LAN (Local Area Network), "which will provide the Nou Mestalla with an internal communications structure capable of supporting the venue’s daily operations;"
• the deployment of a high-capacity WiFi network for common areas, stands, hospitality spaces, and operational zones;
• the implementation of the stadium's cybersecurity system (monitoring tools, data-protection measures, and threat-response mechanisms).
