LALIGA: creation of a joint venture with Strive to develop the league across MENA and South Asia

LALIGA has created a joint venture with Strive Sports & Entertainment, a Bahrain-based media and entertainment company, "to accelerate LALIGA's growth and strengthen its long-term presence in the MENA and South Asia markets," announced the body on 11/12/2025.

As part of this agreement, Strive has acquired 50% of LALIGA MENA & South Asia, "a company based in Dubai from where LALIGA has operated in the region for over 11 years. This joint venture aims to accelerate the growth and positioning of the LALIGA brand in a key market, while also enabling the joint development of new business opportunities in one of the most dynamic regions worldwide," said the Spanish league.

"The MENA and South Asia region remains one of the most promising international markets for LALIGA. The company currently has a team of 20 professionals based in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, India, Jordan and Turkey.
