DAZN: exclusive broadcasting rights to the Copa del Rey acquired in Italy and the DACH region (2025-2029)

DAZN has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to the Copa del Rey Mapfre in Italy and the DACH region for the 2025-2029 cycle (four seasons), announced the OTT platform on 11/12/2025.

The streaming service, which has also acquired these rights in France for the same period, will begin broadcasting the competition from the Round of 32 of the 2025-26 edition, scheduled from 16 to 18/12/2025. DAZN also holds the media rights to LALIGA EA Sports in Italy (until 2029) and the DACH region (until 2031).

LALIGA launched the call for tenders for the international TV rights to the Copa del Rey from the 2025-26 season on 21/11/2025, in collaboration with the British agency Peak Sport Media.
