Piracy/AFCON: ISPs ordered to put in place "all measures" to block illegal streams after beIN request

beIN SPORTS France has obtained a favourable ruling from the Paris Judicial Court, "ordering all internet service providers to implement, from 21/12 and until the date of the final match of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2025, all appropriate measures to prevent access to online public communication services illegally broadcasting matches of the competition," announced the pay-TV group on 15/12/2025.

"This decision, which therefore protects the competition in its entirety, represents a further significant step in the fight against piracy carried out by beIN at a global level, and forms part of the continuity of the actions undertaken by the group to protect all of its broadcasting rights across all competitions," added the group, which holds the media rights to the AFCON 2025 in full and on an exclusive basis across several international territories, including France.
