Court ruling: Paris SG ordered to pay €61m to Kylian Mbappé with provisional enforcement

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) has been ordered by the Paris Industrial Tribunal to pay €61m to Kylian Mbappé in unpaid wages and bonuses, as part of the dispute opposing the player to his former club under employment law, on 16/12/2025. The ruling is accompanied by provisional enforcement.

"The club claimed it would not pay until a decision was made by the court. That decision has now been made. The court also ordered provisional enforcement, which means that PSG must pay immediately. Football is not a lawless zone," said Frédérique Cassereau and Delphine Verheyden, Kylian Mbappé’s lawyers.

The two lawyers had filed a request to reclassify the player's fixed-term contract with the club, which ran until 30/06/2024, as a permanent contract. This request came with a series of financial demands totaling over €260m which were presented at the hearing before the Paris Industrial Tribunal on 17/11/2025.

Among other claims, counsel sought €44.6m for wrongful termination, €40.4m in unpaid signing bonuses (including paid leave), €37.5m for undeclared work, €25.7m in statutory…
