Ligue 1 TV rights/France: all matches on Ligue 1+ from 2026-27, end of beIN contract

The Ligue 1+ streaming platform will broadcast all Ligue 1 McDonald's matches exclusively in France from the 2026-27 season, according to the French daily L’Équipe on 16/12/2025, an information News Tank is able to confirm.

According to L'Équipe, this decision, taken unanimously by the Collège de Ligue 1 (Ligue 1 board), will put an end to the contract between LFP Media and beIN SPORTS France for the broadcasting of one game per matchday of the French top flight (€78.5m per year since 2024-25) after the 2025-26 season. This termination is also linked to a clause in beIN's contract with LFP Media, which allows the pay-TV group to withdraw in the event of DAZN's departure, according to News Tank. DAZN has prematurely terminated its broadcast rights contract for Ligue 1 after just one season (2024-25).
