LFP: partnership with Sony for the distribution of Ligue 1+ on PlayStation 5 in France, Italy and the UK

LFP Media has entered into a partnership with the Japanese group Sony for the distribution of the Ligue 1+ platform on PlayStation 5 game consoles in France, Italy and the United Kingdom from 17/12/2025, announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on the same day.

"PS5 owners will be able to access all Ligue 1+ matches, programmes and exclusive content, with optimal quality and user-friendly features designed for the widest possible audience," said the League. This offer will also be available on PlayStation 4 "in 2026."

Ligue 1+ subscribers with a 12-month plan or a monthly subscription (excluding mobile and youth offers) can connect directly from their console. Users looking to subscribe to the streaming service can also do so directly from their PS5 from 17/12.

Ligue 1+, which broadcasts eight Ligue 1 McDonald's games live and exclusively per matchday throughout the 2025-26 season, is distributed in France via the DAZN, Prime Video (Amazon) and Molotov TV platforms, as well as various telecommunications operators (Orange, Free, SFR and Bouygues Telecom).
