Real Betis Balompié: Estadio Benito Villamarín renovation total cost estimated at €262.3m

The total cost of the renovation of the Benito Villamarín Stadium (Seville, ESP), home of Real Betis Balompié (LALIGA EA Sports), which began in summer 2025, is estimated at €262.3m by the club, announced its president Ángel Haro at the annual general meeting held on 17/12/2025.

The renovation cost, amounting to €202.9m, is broken down as follows:
• construction costs: €163.1m;
• equipment: €23.3m;
• supplier contracts: €16.5m.

Real Betis Balompié also anticipates additional costs of €59.4m:
• contingencies or overruns: €20.2m;
• advisory and legal fees: €9.8m;
• capitalised interest: €19.1m;
• debt service reserve fund: €10.1m.

The project is largely financed by the club, while €15m comes from LALIGA Impulso (from the agreement between LALIGA and CVC).

The club, which is playing its home matches at the Estadio Olímpico de La Cartuja (Seville, ESP) during the works, is planning to complete the works in May 2028, with a return scheduled from the 2028-29 season.
