FIFA: partnership with Roblox (metaverse) extended for the launch of the "FIFA Super Soccer" game

FIFA has extended its partnership with Roblox to launch FIFA Super Soccer, its official game available on the online gaming and metaverse platform, announced the body on 19/12/2025. The title was developed in collaboration with the American studio Gamefam.

As part of this enhanced partnership, "Gamefam’s blockbuster title Super League Soccer, which averages 9.5 million monthly active users, 1.5 million daily gameplay sessions and 11-minute gameplay sessions, has been renamed and rebranded as FIFA Super Soccer to become FIFA’s new official experience on the platform," said the international federation, which launched its first metaverse on Roblox in 2022.

Specific initiatives will be developed for the 2026 World Cup and in collaboration with certain FIFA partners, such as adidas. FIFA Super Soccer players, who can select official national teams and clubs "to join events aligned with top global leagues," will be able to unlock customization items related to the 2026 World Cup, or play with adidas' 14 partner clubs during a four-week event called the "adidas Football Festival."
